Why this site exists
I switched to oxio in 2020, liked that the price on the bill stayed the price, and wanted an easy way to pass the code along. The site grew from there: guides on reading your bill, what to check before cancelling, and how oxio compares with the providers people actually leave.
What I get from it
When someone signs up with , they get their first month free, and I get a free month too once they reach their third month. That's how oxio's referral program works for every customer who shares a code.
I share the code as an independent referral ambassador under an agreement with oxio, which is spelled out in the disclaimer. I'm not an oxio employee, and this isn't oxio's website. That agreement is also why you won't find criticism of oxio or its parent company, Cogeco, here. What you will find about other providers sticks to documented, sourced facts.
How the pages are made
I research every page myself and use AI tools to help draft and translate the text. Then I check it before it goes up. Comparison pages link every fact to its source (the CCTS complaints commissioner, the providers' own pages, news reports, public review sites) and show the date I last checked them.
Opinions are mine and written as opinions. Prices and policies change, so treat oxio.ca and each provider's own site as the final word, and confirm details there before you decide.
Where oxio is (and isn't) available
oxio sells home internet in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. It isn't available in Atlantic Canada, so the pages for those provinces say so plainly rather than sending you to a signup that can't work.
